Already have an air conditioner or heat pump? We open the indoor unit, check the cold coil and the pan that catches its water, and install a Second Wind UV lamp where that moisture sits. If the coil is already coated with dirt and mold, we clean it before the lamp goes in. A light aimed at a dirty coil cannot do its job.
A new air conditioner still makes the coil inside the air handler cold and wet. That moisture is normal, and it is also where dust sticks and mold starts, even on equipment that was just installed.
